WATCHING MY CHILDREN
After spending a week in Hawaii with my best friend Marie, I began to reflect on the trip. I smile a lot thinking of just observing how good Marie and Kasala are doing. It is fun and sometimes comical to watch your children interact with their children. Do they really have it together? Yes for the most part they really do! I was very impressed with how this family operates! Terina IS NOT THE BOSS! Marie is such a good wife and mother. Kasala is a wonderful daddy. I was impressed! Hawaii was hot. Marie got the air conditioner up and running by telling Kasala I really wanted it up. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do I guess. I'm sure he would have put it up sooner or later though. I was glad it was sooner. Marie does not let Terina get away with much of anything these days. She is on her all the time telling her what she needs to be doing or telling her what a good girl she is. I was impressed.Terina has grown up a lot also. She still has her moments though. I don't know how anyone can expect a 3 year old to go out the front door and go straight to the car when the playground is 30 feet away without taking a detour. She is obedient, and just a sweet little girl. I love her so much. It was fun spending time with her while Marie was at school. We were able to reconnect once again. Sometimes I wanted to snicker at Marie and Kasala, neither one of them totally lost it with Terina or each other. No yelling, lots of movies, especially Alvin and the Chipmunks. lots of fun, and many trips to town. I just love hanging out with my kids. I think I need to see the rest of them before I go to work on Monday! I love you all so very much!

A LONG TIME AGO
I just have to keep ahead of someone with this blogging business. I'll try to keep ahead of Bree! A goal has been set. I can't believe that moving Mike was the last time I made an entry. We are both still alive and well. Dad just did another all nighter with his Halo friends, and now is playing packable. I just don't get it, and sadly probably never will. I am excited today to leave home on another adventure to see my favorite girls and Kasala in Hawaii. I don't know what we will do besides have a darn good time. I have thought about playing nanny 911, or home makeover. Marie suggested the later would be good anyway it will be such a good time! This past month I have been busy. I made a weekend trip to California to see Jake and meet Kim's family and Kelli
the woman that Jake lives with. I had an excellent time with Jake. I just wanted to sit with him or be right by him the whole time. I didn't realize how much I missed him. I felt like Emma Tabitha and Terina when Grandma and Grandpa are around and they are trying to see who can sit closer to us. The San Diego temple is just outstandingly beautiful. Jake and I did an early morning road trip on Sunday and spent a little time on the temple grounds. Church was at 1:00 so we did not need to be a big hurry. I enjoyed that time a lot. Kim's family were great. Glenda her mom and I compared everything from wedding rings, which were surprisingly a lot alike to what we liked to cook. She is such a gourmet, and I am such a put it in the oven and pull it out and eat it. Gourmet meals cooked from scratch! I came home with my head down on that one! Kelli the woman that Jake lives with is one of the most wonderful woman that I have ever met. She loves Jake so much. She spoils him so rotten. What i asked are you doing going through his closet takiing shirts out to iron for him. You what apologized for putting the flower sheets on his bed instead of the plaid ones? He has her wrapped around his finger tight. There is a special love between them. I know he does for her as much as she does for him. I just told her he knows how to do laundry, make his bed and all that. I kind of felt like smacking him one but didn't. Kelli said she never cooks, she doesn't work, and she wanted to take care of Jake for me. She is Just an ANGEL! I decided to make dresses for the girls for Jake's open house here. I found some beautiful fabric and got to work. First I had to find a pattern that would fit Emma and Sydney also. Project Runway was the key. I have finished Terina's, and it is just perfect! I actually prayed as I sewed as this pattern has a lot of little places that needed to match. I haven't sewed anything for years, let alone put in a zipper, and wanted this to turn out perfect all at the same time! Yes, I am very pleased with the results. ! down, 3 to go! Grandma can do anything and have it turn out perfect when she is praying all the way! Now what will Grandma have to wear? I don't know. Can I make it? Probably not! BUT my girls will look like LITTLE PRINCESSES!!!!!!
